What is Pneumonia?

Is Coughing so hard you throw up a symptom of pneumonia in adults, too? A dry cough has been keeping me awake at night this week and no amount of raw honey would stop it, so I had to take my inhaler. I was hoping to make it through the winter without antibiotics!
