My son has a sinus infection, so I’m happy I was able to find your tips to help get rid of his symptoms! One idea of yours that I really liked was to use peppermint tea. I never would have guessed that a simple herbal tea could help to clear up sinus blockage! We don’t drink a lot of herbal tea in our home, so I’m going to buy some peppermint tea from the store as soon as I can to help my son. Is there a specific brand of tea that you would recommend I buy?
Hi there Jenny. Experts suggest that homemade peppermint tea is probably the best option for sinusitis. You may simply wash and crush a few peppermint leaves, and let it steep in hot water for about 5 minutes or so. Another way is to use the dried organic peppermint tea leaves. Steep about 2 teaspoons in a cup of hot water. You may add some honey for taste, if your son doesn’t like it plain.
Nonetheless, I hope this works for your son. Good luck trying it out Jenny!
